William H. Baribault
President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Baribault has been active in the La Canada and Pasadena area for twenty-five years.

Mr. Baribault led the turnaround of the Henry Company, a manufacturer of roofing and related building products beginning January 2001 and in April 2005 facilitated the sale of the company to an elite private equity fund. From 1975 until 1998 Mr. Baribault consolidated seven companies in the fluid power sector to form the largest distributor and systems integrator of pneumatic and hydraulic automation products in the eight-state Western U.S. Region. The resulting consolidated companies were sold to a NYSE company in 1998.

From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Baribault was a principal of Eagle Associates and President of Oakwood Enterprises, business consulting and investment firms. As a consultant he worked with many private and public organizations to assist in focusing their strategic, financial, operational, and marketing enterprises. Mr. Baribault is a member of Chief Executives Organization and serves on a variety of for-profit and non-profit boards. Mr. Baribault earned his BA degree from Stanford University.




Norman O. Broyer
Chief Risk Officer and Chief Credit Officer

Mr. Broyer brings a solid thirty-five plus years of commercial bank lending and real estate industry experience to Professional Business Bank.

He worked during the 1960’s and 70’s with Union Bank, followed by subsequent positions in lending and credit administration in Southern California community and regional banks. Mr. Broyer holds a BS in Business Administration from UC Berkeley.




Robert A. Hunt
Senior Vice President and Branch Banking Administrator

Mr. Hunt was born and raised in Pasadena and brings 25 years of local banking experience to Professional Business Bank. Mr. Hunt began his career in 1978 with Security Pacific Bank where he worked in operations and began his credit career. Mr. Hunt left Security Pacific in 1985 as a Vice President in Commercial Lending. He then moved to First Interstate Bank as a manager of several local banking offices including their Pasadena Main office. He was also District Sales Manager of the San Gabriel Valley during his time with First Interstate.

In 1994 Mr. Hunt was asked to manage the Los Angeles Main office of Sanwa Bank where he also headed up their International Operations Department. Mr. Hunt has also worked for Verdugo Banking Company and Community Bank in Pasadena until coming to Professional Business Bank in June 2001. Mr. Hunt has always been involved in the community from being the past Chairman of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, a Member of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses since 1990, and a member of the Board of Foothill Family Services in Pasadena.




Michael W. McCall
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. McCall is the Chief Financial Officer of Professional Business Bank and has over 25 years of financial institution experience.

Prior to joining Professional Business Bank, he was controller of American Savings Bank, a $20 billion thrift, and of Sanwa Bank of California, a $5 billion bank. He has also held senior finance and accounting positions at Wells Fargo Bank and Security Pacific Bank and was a senior manager in KPMG’s financial institutions audit practice. Mr. McCall is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of California.



Margie Christ
Senior Vice President, HR Director.

Prior to joining Professional Business Bank - Spectrum Bank, Ms. Christ was the Deputy Manager of Human Resources at City National Bank in Downtown Los Angeles. She began her career with Security Pacific Bank and Bank of America as a Commercial/Business Banking Lending Manager.

After a short stint with KPMG in their Financial Services Practice, she re-joined Bank of America and managed a variety of interesting new banking initiatives including an E-commerce solution for Business Banking customers and a Private Banking growth effort. These activities ultimately led her to the position of Human Resources Manager for Private Banking West at Bank of America, and then to City National.

Ms. Christ joined Professional Business Bank - Spectrum Bank as Director of Human Resources and Strategy in November of 2007. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters Los Angeles and is also involved in the Women Leaders Group of the United Way Los Angeles. Ms. Christ graduated from University of California Irvine with a Bachelors in Economics and lives in Pasadena.
